Pizza with mozzarella cheese and dried tomatoes

Homemade pizza according to our recipe turns out to be so delicious that you will never want to buy a frozen semi-finished product again.

Ingredients:

  • Flour – 200 g
  • Water – 100 ml
  • Dry yeast – 1 tsp
  • Honey – 1 tbsp
  • Tomato pizza sauce Federici – 5 cans
  • Dried tomatoes – ½ can
  • Mozzarella cheese – 150 g
  • Parmesan cheese – 50 g
  • Fresh basil – 1 bunch
  • Olive oil – 2 tbsp. l
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking

  1. Sift the flour and add yeast, olive oil and salt to it. Stir the water with honey and pour a thin stream into the resulting mixture.
  2. Knead the dough with your hands until it becomes elastic. We put it in a bag and leave it to “rest” for an hour, so that it can easily roll out later.
  3. After an hour, we take the finished dough out of the bag and roll it out in a thin layer. Lubricate with tomato pizza sauce and butter from a jar of dried tomatoes, and cut the tomatoes themselves and spread them on the pizza.
  4. Next, lay out the sliced pieces of mozzarella cheese, basil leaves and sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese. At the end, carefully wrap the edges of the pizza.
  5. Turn the oven to 180 degrees and bake the pizza for 20 minutes.
